Dr. Eli Camp is a New Hampshire licensed and board-certified primary care Naturopathic Doctor. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors degree in Botany.
Dr. Camp has served as a faculty member at Seacoast Career Schools in Manchester, NH, and continues to serve as a preceptor for students from various fields of healthcare education. She lectures across the country at numerous health conferences, public school districts and to the community in general regarding the topics of health.
She plays an active role in the ongoing campaign to achieve nationwide licensure for Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Camp is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and has served as a member, Vice-President and President of the New Hampshire Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is active in the efforts to achieve nationwide licensure for NDs.
During her clinical training at Southwest, Dr. Camp spent an additional 300 hours studying Homeopathic medicine under Dr. Stephen Messer and Dr. Eric Udell. Based on her clinical experiences and continued study of Homeopathy, Dr. Camp has chosen to specialize in the Homeopathic treatment of people who suffer from the symptoms of a variety of conditions including arthritis, fibromyalgia, ASD (autism, PDD), ADD, hypo- and hyperthyroid, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity, allergies, eczema, chronic pain, colds, flu and more. She treats people of all ages suffering from the symptoms of both acute and chronic conditions. In addition to Homeopathy, Dr. Camp utilizes all the tools of Naturopathic medicine including: Nutrition, Physical Medicine, Bio-chemical Medicine and Botanical Medicine. All approaches to health are governed by the underlying philosophy that to achieve health one must address the cause of disease instead of merely treating the symptoms of disease.
Dr. Camp believes the way to achieve true health is through the principles of Naturopathic Medicine which, in part, are based on the writings of the father of Homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann, MD. "I have truly taken into my heart," she says, "those words I read which led me to become completely captivated by the art and practice of Homeopathy, 'The physician's high and only mission is to restore the sick to health, to cure, as it is termed'."
